Young students will have a “Shakespearience” with the Bard as they are introduced to an adapted version of the “Pyramus and Thisbe” play-within-a-play, and the characters, of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Students will also participate in theatrical improvisation and pantomime, write poetry and prose about Shakespeare’s characters, learn and perform a rap about Shakespeare’s life, create coats of arms and Elizabethan masks, and plan and conduct a mini Shakespeare Festival.
