MILLENNIUM GOALS

By hearing directly from children hustling to survive the streets of Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 11-year-olds gleaning the rubbish dumps of Cambodia, and California teenagers whose lives were blighted by drought, students will understand the extent of the UN Millennium Goals’ failure and how urgently the world needs to make real progress in addressing extreme poverty, hunger, disease, environmental sustainability, gender equality, and educational opportunity.
